An Interesting interview with Luchi about his Latest single, 'Fix This Love,'

Q. Your latest single, 'Fix This Love,' explores the impact of addiction on relationships. Can you share more about the inspiration behind the song and how it connects with your previous release, 'Mountain'?

Fix this love is one of hardest song I've put out because it's so real and painful for me to sing. When I hear it back or sing it, I am transported back to the time of writing it and I was a mess. I wasn't eating, sleeping, my life was turned upside down. The song is the sister song to my last single Mountain which was about someone close to me who has addiction struggles and while that song was about their side of the story, Fix This Love shows my side of the story and how addiction doesn't just destroy the addicts life, it destroys the lives of people around them too. It is like emotional torture watching someone you care about destroy their lives and every effort you make to help them doesn't work. I wanted to release them back to back so that people can see both sides of the illness. I really hope these two songs shine a light on an often misunderstood illness and we learn to have more understanding through it.

Q. 'Fix This Love' reflects the emotional turmoil experienced by those close to someone battling addiction. How did you navigate the challenge of translating such a personal and intense experience into a song that others can relate to?

When I'm writing, a lot of the time it's like my diary. Some people journal but for me I write it out in songs. If I'm honest, when writing, I don't think about things like how it will translate to the public as I'm writing out of a cathartic place. I think that a good thing because it allows me to be honest and vulnerable and I think that's what helps people connect because they can hear that it's come from a place of truth and not trying to hard.

Q. Your music often touches on deeply personal experiences. How do you balance the emotional intensity of your songs with the desire to connect with your audience on a universal level?

I think because I write the way do, it is relatable because we all feel the same feelings, just wrapped up in different circumstances so I always make sure that I am writing from that place instead of being overly wrapped up in the facts of my story. I wish I had a secret to it as I'd bottle it and sell it but writing is so natural to me, it just comes flowing out of me. With Fix This Love, I just sat at my keyboard and started singing; it just flowed out of me. All the emotions were there, and it was one of those songs that wrote itself. I love it when that happens as it just comes out of you and you feel like you're just a channel for the song, it's a bit of an out-of-body experience and usually, those are the songs that people connect with the most because they are just real and authentic.

Q. You've been involved in the music industry from a young age. How has your journey, from writing songs at thirteen to your recent success, shaped your perspective as a singer/songwriter?

I guess every experience has added to me feeling more confident in my abilities and being able to express myself in the most honest and vulnerable way I can. Even when I was 13, I was writing very raw and vulnerable songs. I've always had an old soul and I'm very empathic so I often feel things on a deeper level to most. I guess as time goes on you grow as a writer and that's always a good thing, expanding your vocabulary and I love it find new ways of saying things, like in my song Losing My Mind that was out in January, the opening line was me and tears ain't strangers which was a more creative way of saying that I've had a lot of tough moments and I cry a lot and I loved that line so much that I named the whole EP after that so it's just about being free and creative for me.

Q. 'Don't Look Back,' your debut single, climbed to No.9 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts. How did that early success impact your approach to music, and what lessons did you learn from it?

I think that it was a lesson in going with my gut instinct and knowing that there was an audience out there for me. I was nervous because the song wasn't your typical song structure as it doesn't have a chorus, it was what we call an AABA song which has a tag line, songs like Over The Rainbow, Yesterday by the Beatles and can be a great song if it's done right so going with something a bit different for my first release I think was a smart move as it set me apart and allowed me to build from then. If I'm completely honest, you never know what song is going to connect with the audience so as long as you are putting out music you love and means something to you, it will always find its place and you'll be happy with it no matter how it performs.

Q. Your unique style and soulful voice have garnered attention. How do you feel your Italian heritage and growing up in Glasgow have influenced your musical identity?

I would say that being Scottish Italian gave me a lot of culture to draw on. Both have such rich and diverse music that it was easy to be influenced. Listening to Italian music when I was younger, I learned how you can listen to music that you may not understand all the words too but still feel the emotion. I think that's really played into me as a singer as I always try sing from emotion and not strive to be the most technical singer. I know a lot of people have said to me they feel what I'm saying when I sing and I guess that's what it's all about. I never used to like my voice because it was unique and I wanted to sound like everyone else but now I love it because when you hear a song by me, you know it's me by my voice and that makes it stand out and instantly recognisable which is an asset in the industry. If you think of some of the greatest stars, as soon as their song comes on, you know it's them so I'd rather stand out than blend in.

Q. As a songwriter for multiple artists, you've worked with industry giants. How has collaborating with experienced writers shaped your craft, and what insights have you gained from those experiences?

I love it pick up little from everyone I write with as it builds up your abilities as you go. Everyone has different approaches and different styles so it makes for a fascinating evolution to take little bits from them all. I've worked with writers like Charlie Dore who taught me how to really use lyrics in a smart way to say things, she has such a unique voice in her lyrics that really rubbed off on me and working with Stargate recently, I learnt a lot about melodies and how to make melodies and the production intertwine with each other. The biggest thing I've taken from every session is confidence, for these big writers and artists to believe in me, and all have confidence and compliment my abilities as a singer and writer, that gives me the encouragement to believe in my own abilities and that I deserve my seat at the table.

Q. You've participated in songwriting contests and received recognition for your work. How have these competitions and achievements contributed to your growth as an artist?

I think for me, it's not about the awards and accolades, while they are nice to have, for me it's when I get messages from my audience and they say a song has helped them though a particularly hard time in their life or they have related to it and it's it:s helped them. That to me is what it's all about. Music is a healer for me and I love being able to do that for others.

Q. Your lyrics often come from personal experiences. How do you choose which stories to share through your music, and what impact do you hope your songs have on listeners?

Again it's not something I think too much about. I'm an open book and I'm more careful around what I say about the song in interviews etc if the song is about someone else because I want to respect their privacy so I never reveal names or details but in the songs, it's a free for all in terms of me just saying the real things. People in my life will tell you I'm very direct in how I speak and I always cut to the feelings and forget small talk so I guess that translates into my music and my fans appreciate my honesty. I got told by a songwriter friend recently that I say the thing everyone is thinking but is too afraid to say out loud and I guess that's just part of me as a person, I'm not afraid to get vulnerable.

Q. With a growing number of successful singles, what can fans expect from your future releases, and how do you see your music evolving in the coming years?

Well I've got the next few singles already lined up so I know what's coming and I'm so excited. I'm experimenting with a darker pop sound next year and I think that in the coming years, I'll always experiment within the pop realm as that the freedom of doing pop is you can draw from all different genres but I think the thread is always going to be my voice and my lyrical style that will always make it feel familiar no matter where I take it musically.

Interview with DARIA

DARIA is the author of the original Earth Day song that is heard and sung around the world. This year the song turns 20 years old so Daria collaborated with other artists from around the globe to create EARTH DAY AROUND THE WORLD.

We are sharing interesting interview with talented DARIA, she talks about EARTH DAY AROUND THE WORLD.

Q: How would you describe yourself in one word?

peace-maker

I grew up under difficult situations and witnessed so much trouble and violence in the world.  I kept asking… does it have to be this way? As I’ve developed as an artist I’ve found that so many others are asking the same question and using their creativity to build a better future for us all.

Q: Why do you feel this is the ideal profession for you?

Creating world music means I am affirming the importance and beauty of each and every culture, language and musical style. No one above anyone else. And my career allows me to speak my truth and hopefully make a difference with my words, actions and songs.

Q: What's the reason behind writing 'Earth Day Around the world'?

Decades ago I performed at a school in the United States.  The teachers were awesome and focused our whole workshop on how kids can make a diffference in the world with their choices. Then they asked that I come up with a song that all 300 students could sing the next day. So I took a familiar melody and all the comments I heard during that day and molded them into the original Earth Day song. One thing that was empowering about this song was that kids recognized their ideas in the lyrics to the song and it meant so much more to them that way!

Q: What's the response you got from your fans about your Earth Day song?

They say that the songs makes them feel happy and motivates them to take steps to make a difference for our Earth. It is 100% true that a change in attitude and action will result in a meaningful difference for the future of our planet.

Q: As an Author, what's your favorite song?

I really love the bonus track - Whole New World by Kenyan artist, Ness.  The song has an awesome Afrobeat feel and blends the idea of new seeds sprouting and gaining confidence with the idea that little by little we are growing a better future.

Q: Where do you see yourself in three years from now, or where would you like to be?

Making more music! I’ve been excited about several projects I’ve developed and give away for free that help immigrants from Ukraine and Latin American learn English through music. I also want to keep collaborating with artists that use their mother tongues finding ways to encourage them not to leave their language and heritage behind.

Q: Can you please tell us about the most successful project you have worked on.

Although I’ve been nominated for a Grammy and won multiple Parent’s Choice and Children’s music awards, there is one project that really stands out to me. During the pandemic most teachers seemed to be pulling their hair out. Kids were stuck at home and Zoom school was tough for everyone so I volunterred with classrooms around the world to do free songwriting workshops with their kids.

One teacher in Australia paired me with kids that had just survived a harrowing journey to immigrate to that country.  All the kids could talk about was how much they appreciated the doctors and nurses that had saved their lives. Their phrases and descriptions were woven into the song “Thanks To The Doctors And Nurses”.  When that song was released, it attracted a lot of positive media attention and won a Global Music Award in the Children’s music category.

Q: What is your dream project?

Honestly, EARTH DAY AROUND THE WORLD is my dream project.  It involved connecting with artist who I love and respect and working together to bring new songs to life. That is just so cool! Especially because we are hearing that this music is inspiring kids and families and that it makes a difference to them to feel heard and represented in the Earth Day and ecology movement.

Q: What are some things that you love?

In addition to music and languages, I love my little farm which sits on a mountaintop in Pennsylvania (USA). This is where I live with my family, a boatload of animals and some adorable rescue sheep.

Q: How's your fans can get updates about your latest releases? Your website or social media links?

Interview with Aaron Parker | ACTHEKiDFROMSPACE

ACTHEKiDFROMSPACE is a self taught Montreal, Canada based artist & sound engineer. Taking influences from many genres and artists, AC has been able to develop his own sound that stretches the boundaries of genre based music. His goal is to make smooth midnight songs that can make people feel the memories and feelings that he lived while creating them.

Here we are sharing interesting interview with this talented Canada based Artist & expert Sound engineer, Aaron Parker, he talks about his latest single 'Hell of a Night' & his goals and journey.

Q. Can you tell us about your journey as a self-taught artist and sound engineer? What inspired you to pursue music and develop your skills in this field?

Hi, thanks for taking the time to have me. My music journey started at a very young age. Since I was young, I’ve always loved multiple genres of music and began writing at around 12 years old. However, at this age I was very preoccupied with my studies and pursuing a football career, so I didn’t have the time to take music seriously. Music was still always there whether I was training in the gym, studying or even just with friends. After my studies I finally decided to take my music seriously and chase that passion at full stride. This is when I saved up to build a professional studio and get the right equipment to record at a high level of quality. I was fortunate enough to have a few mentors who helped me learn how to sound engineer my own music and it all kind of took off from there.

Q. Montreal, Canada has a vibrant music scene. How has your hometown influenced your music and artistic style?

I wouldn’t necessarily say that my music has been influenced by the city very much. The French music scene is in high demand here and that’s not something I listen to. I’d definitely say my music has benefited more from my open mindedness to numerous genres & my attention to details.

Q. Your music seems to blend various genres and influences. Can you share some of the specific artists or genres that have had the most significant impact on shaping your sound?

Yes, it definitely does blend many genres. As I said, from a young age I was exposed to so many genres from trap to afro beats to even rock. I always had a tough time sticking to one specific genre because I really love melody and I truly believe I’m capable of succeeding in many genres. I don’t like to put myself in a box. I’d much prefer to explore just how far I can take my music, while still always making sure to maintain that “AC” sound. As for artists, there are far too many to name but if I had to name a few it would be guys like Aftertheparty, 6lack, Meek Mill, Sting and so many more. As you can tell, those artists range in numerous genres, clearly showing how my influences came from all over the place.

Q. Your goal is to create "smooth midnight songs" that evoke memories and emotions. How do you go about capturing these feelings while producing your music?

Honestly, it’s pretty easy for me. These feelings are captured from real emotions and memories. I want to make sure my audience feels a certain vibe from every individual song, so I make sure to talk about real events that have happened or bring real emotions to the song. If I can’t bring real emotions and feelings to the music, then how can I expect my audience to feel these feelings while listening.

Q. Collaborations are common in the music industry. Are there any artists or producers you'd love to collaborate with in the future, and why?

There are many other artists I’d love to collaborate with in the future. Other than my idols who have already made it big, its important for me to develop friendship with other artists before I can work with them. I feel that the audience can feel when two artists connect well on a song and when the artists just do it without building a connection first. Like I said before, its important for everything about my music to be real. So, if I’m going to collaborate with another artist, I’d much prefer to connect with them on a personal level first. That way it will be easier for us to relate to aspects of our life and translate them to the music.

Q. As an independent artist, what are some of the challenges you've faced in the music industry, and how have you overcome them?

As an independent artist, the biggest challenge is getting your music heard and doing all the marketing work yourself. Music is the easy part. To market properly it takes lots of time, energy, and money to get out there. I sometimes find myself spending more than half of my paycheck at work on my music marketing just because I believe in myself. I’m willing to struggle now in order to live a better life later. Its tough to spend hours daily on researching contacts for playlist curators, radio stations, bloggers, etc., then having to send hundreds of emails per day just to get a chance to get placements and have the music heard by a wider audience. Although its tough, it does pay off, so it makes it all worth it.

Q. In your opinion, how important is it for artists to express their personal experiences and emotions through their music?

I truly believe its one of the most important aspects of making music. Whether it’s the lyrics or overall ambience of the song, both are just as important. Usually as a listener most people want to listen to artists that they can relate to the most. At least that’s how it is for me.

Q. As a sound engineer, how do you ensure that your music translates well across different platforms and devices while maintaining its intended impact?

When it comes down to mix and mastering a song, usually I’ll make sure my mixes sound good on numerous speakers. I have different reference speakers that I use but I’ll also listen to the mix on my phone speakers, in the car and in different size rooms to ensure I get the most out of my mix. With technological advances, there are even programs that will simulate different speakers so that you can make adjustments without having to physically listen on those different devices. However, in my opinion its better to actually listen on different devices as opposed to trusting a software to make the decisions for you. Every sound engineer has a different ear, so mixes are always relative to the person mixing and mastering.

Q. Finally, what exciting projects do you have in the pipeline for the future?

My vault is filled with hundreds of songs. Some will drops eventually and some will never see the light of day. I have many exciting projects coming soon. Mostly singles, but I’m always working on a bigger project as I work through singles. I’m excited for what the future brings and I’m hopeful I can touch the world of listeners on a global scale. For now, I just dropped my latest singleHell of a Nightalongside my brother from Nigeria named Pupa Tee and a good friend of mine named Noura. Make sure to check it out.

Q: Our audience wants to know more about your record label.

Big Condo Records is an independent record label based in Liverpool, established in 2015. The label started with hip-hop and soul artists, then moved into R & B, acoustic, pop music and indie. We currently specialise in all genres. We love music and the artists. Big Condo Records has put on over 500 shows in the northwest and the UK, also touring regularly and putting on some major headlines by releasing music and supporting artists and bands.

Big Condo Records has thrived to be as big as Atlantic Records and has seen dramatic growth over the past 8 years. As Big Condo continues to break records and develop every year, we can't wait to see what Big Condo has to bring in 10 years. We are a label unlike other’s we are heavily focused in the development of the artists and bands, and we are more hands on than most labels.

Big Condo means a lot to us, condo’s are small apartment complexes and a lot of them have shared complex living, so there will be multiple people sharing or living in the facilities.

We use this with the music as we are a multi genre music label so shared complex music.

The Big stands for where the label will be in a 100 years and it stands for the projects we develop and the multiple feathers in our bow as we do a lot of music practices.

So, when you put the two together you got Big Condo and we are a recording company, so Big Condo Records. It’s crazy but that name took 3 years to develop.

Q: Your favorite artist?

Haha, everyone always asks this, it’s becoming a funny one. We don’t have a favourite at the label, all our artists are in their own lane and are at different stages of their career.

‘’Our favourite artist is one that works hard and likes to promote 😉.

Interview with Luchi | Singer & Songwriter

Q. How would you describe yourself in one word?

Oh this is hard but I would say the best word to describe me is honest. Honesty and integrity means a lot to me.

Q. Why do you feel this is the ideal profession for you?

Apart from the fact that I have been fired from every other job I’ve had, I think that music is my gift and it’s my true passion so I love what I do and I think that comes across when I talk about music. I devour all genres of music and have a wide eclectic taste so I am well versed in music and take bits and pieces from all different genres to make my own sound. Songs just come into my head whether it be a melody or a lyric and that’s not something you can fake, I do believe this is what I am meant to do and give back to my listeners the same healing I get from music.

Q. Your upcoming project?

My new single is called Things He Handed Down and it’s about my childhood. This was one of those songs that wrote itself really. In about 15 minutes after hearing the piano part my collaborator Jiro sent me, I had the song written. He lives in Japan so I had the initial demo finished by the time he woke up the next day. It just flowed out of me and came from my inner child. It’s about generational abuse and trauma in families and explores the things that are handed down through generations and questions why this happens. When I listened back to the song the first time, I was so proud and felt really emotional for the child inside me. I have been able to work through a lot of my traumas and I feel this song is giving a voice to my inner child.

This song is one that is from my inner child to any other person that suffered abuse and hopefully makes them feel less alone.

Q. What's the response you expect from your fans about your new single 'Things He Handed Down'?

Everyone that heard the single before it’s release in my team/circle all commented on how relatable it was, even if you’ve not had the exact same experience as me, Father son relationships can be difficult so I hope that my fans can find some healing in the song. The thinking behind releasing it on Fathers Day is that it isn’t always a happy day for everyone and a lot of memories can be triggered so again, I wanted people to not feel so alone on a day that can often come with a lot of emotions good and bad.

Q. Your favorite song?

This is such a hard question because I love so many different songs for different reasons but if I had to choose one, I’d say Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson. Every time I hear this song I cry and it was actually the song that made me get into songwriting as it was my story in a song and when I heard she had written it, it inspired me to start and the rest is history.

Q. Where do you see yourself in three years from now, or where would you like to be?

Oh I don’t like to think too far in the future because things can change in a minute but in three years, I want to be back on stage, still releasing music and writing for others. Life’s a journey and I’ve done a lot of work on myself as a person so I hope to continue on that journey of self love as well.

Q. Can you please tell us about the most successful project you have worked on.

I think success is a hard one to rate as for me, the most successful projects have been the ones where I’ve been proud of what I’ve written and it’s taught me something that I didn’t even know I was feeling. I use music as therapy so the prize for me is working on the song and putting it out and then hearing from my fans that it’s helped them. I don’t chase the numbers or streams, for me music is more than that, it’s about feeling, vulnerability and honesty. I’ve been very lucky to have success from it and my singles regularly chart on iTunes but for me, it means more when I hear from someone that they found healing in one of my songs.

Q. What is your dream project?

My dream project is to have a supergroup put together for a single with me, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk and Adele as I think that would be amazing. I love collaborating with other artists so that’s definitely a dream one for me.

Q. What are some things that you love?

Music will forever be my first love but i enjoy going to see live shows, theatre, my friends, my family, my niece and nephews that I absolutely adore being an uncle to, the gym, walking along the beach and sex and the city haha. It makes me want to move to New York.

Interview with Zigg Theartist

Q: How would you describe yourself in one word?

I would describe myself as a Swiss Army knife, so in one word it would be versatile, I pride myself on not having one specific sound and I think that’s what separates me from a lot of other artist, especially in my city. It feels good to stand out.

Q: Why do you feel this is the ideal profession for you?

Because I love it, I love music, I love creating music, I love listening to music. It’s simple as that to be honest, I feel like I have what it takes to be as big as I want to be. I feel like I got the IT factor. It took me some time to get there but my confidence level is through the roof, especially now.

Q: Our audience wants to know more about your upcoming new album?

My next album is set to be released February 10th, and it’s titled 23 The Goat Year. The motivation and inspiration behind this album is to show the audience that yes I sing a lot but I can RAP my ass off, it’s to show the audience that my beat making/producing is top tier as well. I worked on extremely hard on this album, I want to say for a year I recorded and made beats without releasing anything . After my car accident I was sidelined for some time, and I wanted to prove to myself that I still got it, even through the set back. So I titled it 23 The Goat Year because we are in the year 2023 and I’m striving to be one of the GOATS, with every bar and every beat meaning so much to me.

Q: What's the response you expect from your fans about "23 The Goat Year"?

Honestly, I’m not sure, I’ve been off the scene for a few months but popping back out periodically showed me that people really love me and support me and noticed my absence, so I hope my fans really appreciate this body of work, I think they’re going to love the lyrics of each song because every song is relatable in some way to someone.

Q: Your favorite artists?

My favorite artist will always be Lil Wayne, Jay Z, & Biggie but I like a lot of artist now, Lil baby is dope, I like Durk a little too, but I’ve been really just listening to myself lately but I still respect all artist in the game today.

Q: Where do you see yourself in three years from now, or where would you like to be?

I see myself on tour, throwing my own shows, and just comfortably living off of my craft. A lot of people want to be major super stars, not saying I wouldn’t want that but my focus is to maintain a life with doing what I love, I also have my movie “2 Toxic” coming out soon so I hope to be acting a lot in the near future, especially after the film is released. That’s one of my major things I have going on behind the scenes.

Q: Can you please tell us about the most successful project you have worked on.

My most successful project was my album “Toxic”. That album is approaching close to 300k streams which is huge for me, we also put a entire film behind this album bringing each song to life visually. You’ll see the film in theaters and streaming sites soon. I’ve won awards from this album as well.  Just overall it put me in a good position to move forward and progress through my journey to the top and I don’t expect anything to slow down, especially when the movie drops.

Q: What is your dream project?

My dream project is to work on a entire body of work with a film attached to it, kind of like what 50 cent did. I’m actually working on it now but it’s hard work for sure. I just think a lot is possible especially when you put your all into it. I’ve also spoke it into existence. So I mean what I’m working on now is my dream project, time will tell.

Q: What are some things that you love?

Number 1 I love my son, my family, and my friends outside of music that is my go to place for peace, I love traveling performing and creating on a professional level, and lastly I love myself, I went through a depressed stage in my life and I got back to loving me.

Q: How's people can get updates about your record label? Your website or social media links?

I regularly update my site and socials with music show dates and visual content, so stay up to date by visiting my website and my socials .
